Country Marquees For Every Occation
County Marquees was founded in 1989 by two brothers, Matthew and David Higgs. The company specializes in marquee hire for weddings, parties, corporate events and all types of outdoor occasions.Based in London and the home counties, we are an independent family marquee company dedicated to offering an efficient, quality marquee hire service to all of our customers.
We know that the success of our customers’ events is partly dependant on the quality of our product. So we work hard to ensure we always offer good, clean, functioning equipment that will set off any sort of event to perfection. And all at a reasonable price (see our marquee hire price lists). The information on this site describes the type of marquees and equipment that we can provide. We hope it will enable you to decide whether we can be of service to you.
ramed marquees are a modern style of marquee. Instead of centre poles and ropes, these tents are supported by an aluminum skeleton around the edge – illustrated in the photos below.
Features of framed marquees:

- Clear span: no central pole, which means clear space inside the marquee and an unobstructed view for speeches.
- Installation on any surface: including hard surfaces like sand, gravel, and concrete. This is because frame marquees can be secured to the ground with weights instead of pegs (though pegs are used where possible and are advisable in severe winds).
- Installation anywhere: well… almost anywhere. No guy ropes means frame marquees can fit in small town gardens, on roof terraces, in courtyards etc as they can make the maximum use of space. See photos of marquees in awkward spaces for some examples.
- Winter stability: framed marquees withstand higher wind speeds and snow loadings so they are a practical option in winter.
- Safety: made from flame-retardant PVC manufactured to the latest BSI standards.
- Flexible use of space:: can be joined together to cover large areas, fit L-shaped gardens or allow for different areas within an event
