World Inspired Tents™ was formed early in 2007 by Edward and Donna Wright.

The core of our business is the hire of beautiful and extraordinary Nordic Tipis for weddings, parties, festivals and practically any outdoor event, where people are looking for a practical and visually stunning alternative to a standard white marquee.

In the past two years we have built a reputation as being one of the most professional, reliable, and friendly companies in our field. Whilst we hate the words “mission statement” we do have a simple but strong company ethos: to surpass client expectations on every single job and to make the next event even better than the last.

All of our Nordic tipis are manufactured by Tentipi® AB of Sweden and we are proud to be part of the Official Tentipi Approved Rental Programme. This requires that we replace our tents with new ones every three years and conform to strict ‘best practice’ rules for all our client services.

We are a family run company based in beautiful North Devon; we pride ourselves on our individual and bespoke service, tailoring your tent to meet your exact requirements by providing a range of furnishings & accessories which will compliment your important day.

Imagine this;

Your 200 guests have just finished their evening meal, they have been seated comfortably along natural pinewood tables & benches, hosted beneath 3 giant Kåtas which are joined together to create a single tent. Bottoms are warm and cosy resting on soft sheep skins, your guests are well fed and the sides of the tents are up, allowing their gazes to turn to the setting sun outside.

Some guests meander over to the bar to lean and chat with old friends, whilst others take a moment to step outside and glance up at the Kåtas’ magnificence; small puffs of smoke from the fire inside start to spiral out of the top of the tipi. Inside, the band begins and some people hit the dance floor, the disco ball sends flickers of light around the tent. Other guests watch the dancing from our smaller chill out tent, which can be attached to the larger tents. The fireplace is ablaze and guests are drawn towards this magical experience, whilst others lounge on bean cubes and giant cushions, resting their drinks on low tables which are lit up by Moroccan lanterns and candles. The night has just begun and this is just one scenario.

Our Kåtas create a perfect venue for wedding receptions, parties, corporate events or festivals. Combined with our external tent heaters, the options for a winter event are even more desirable. The versatility of our Kåtas mean you can raise the sides up on a fine evening or keep them closed on cooler nights. In addition our Bamse Max open fireplace allows your guests to enjoy a wonderful, unique experience, whilst keeping them toasty as well!

The two main types of event tent available in the UK are traditional pole marquees and aluminium frame marquees (sometimes called ‘frame tents’ or ‘clear span marquees‘ or ‘frame pavilions’).

World Inspired Tents™ is a family run business, based in beautiful North Devon. It forms part of our parent company, World Inspired Limited.

Our core business is the hire and sale of the amazing Tentipi® products. Other business activities within World Inspired Limited, include such things as bespoke gifts for weddings and parties.

Company Directors Edward & Donna Wright are passionate outdoor enthusiasts. World Inspired Tents™ was born out of discovering Tentipi® and realising an opportunity to work with them as part of their Assured Rental Programme and as an official Tentipi Sales Centre.

You have 200 guests gathered in 3 of our Stratus 72 Kata’s, joined together to create a single tent. The sun is setting, the band is in full swing and people are grooving on the dance floor. Across the tent people are chatting at the bar whilst others linger by the open fire…yes… inside the tent!

Attached to the Stratus 72’s is one of our smaller Cirrus 40 tents. The lights are low, the candles are flickering and guests are chilling out on bean bag’s and giant cushions.

As the night draws to a close people retire to their individual sleeping tents, in the tipi village we’ve created for you across the field.

This is just one scenario. Our tents allow your imagination to run wild.
