Linings are made from Katty 200GSM which is Inherently Fire Retardant fabric and velcro together in modules matching the frame system giving maximum flexibility of use. Available in several styles and a range of colours Linings can be used without eave valances, but the use of coloured/hand printed valances can change the whole appearance of the marquee with minimal outlay and simple velcro fitting.Twinkling Embroidered Starlight linings can add a stunning finish to your marquee. This style of lining is manufactured using low voltage LED lights and flame retardant modified acrylic cloth, available in a range of colors. Each roof is made with a backing cloth to cover all the electric wiring and comes complete with storage container for ease of transport.The GargTent liner system can be used in most standard frame or pole tents. ramed marquees are a modern style of marquee. Instead of centre poles and ropes, these tents are supported by an aluminum skeleton around the edge – illustrated in the photos below.

Features of framed marquees:

• Clear span: no central pole, which means clear space inside the marquee and an unobstructed view for speeches.
• Installation on any surface: including hard surfaces like sand, gravel, and concrete. This is because frame marquees can be secured to the ground with weights instead of pegs (though pegs are used where possible and are advisable in severe winds).

• Installation anywhere: well… almost anywhere. No guy ropes means frame marquees can fit in small town gardens, on roof terraces, in courtyards etc as they can make the maximum use of space. See photos of marquees in awkward spaces for some examples.

The two main types of event tent available in the UK are traditional pole marquees and aluminium frame marquees (sometimes called ‘frame tents’ or ‘clear span marquees‘ or ‘frame pavilions’).

To illustrate the two types of marquees see the two photos right (both photos show the construction of the tent from the inside for illustration; however, in most cases you would have decorative internal linings which would hide the fabric and parts).

Traditional tents are made of canvas or PVC and have centre poles for support and guy ropes around the outside for stability. Frame marquees are free standing, made from a modular aluminium framework with PVC roof sheets and walls.
